Main Street Skowhegan

Main Street Skowhegan is a nonprofit organization focused on the ongoing revitalization of historic Skowhegan, Maine. Founded in 2005 by a group of citizens, Main Street relies on their hardworking staff, energetic AmeriCorps members, a dedicated Board of Directors, and more than one hundred awesome volunteers to execute major community initiatives and events. A few of their local events include Skow-Whoville, Craft Brew Fest, River Fest, Small Business Saturday, and Somerset SnowFest

At Kennebec Lumber we offer green and kiln-dried products in Hard Maple, which accounts for over 50 percent of our total volume, Northern Red Maple, Northern Red Oak, and Yellow Birch. Color sorting is available in all species. We specialize in custom grades and colors for the cabinet industry. Along with color sorting, we offer rip to width and surfaced 2 sides and cut to length programs dependent on customer needs.
