The Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce is looking for citizens, business people, and any student interested to help us with upcoming community projects.

The SRCC has three types of volunteer opportunities: Board of Directors, Committees, and Quick Action Sub-Committees.

To be eligible for a Board of Directors seat, you must be an active member in a committee for at least six months. Board of Directors seats are not always open and they arise as members term out.

Committees meet once per month all year long, while sub-committees are created to accomplish a specific project or goal and then they disband. Sub-committees usually require a much shorter commitment, lasting for a few weeks or months. Many sub-committees are for the events the SRCC organizes.

The SRCC currently has three committees: Advocacy, Events, and Marketing/Membership.

The Chamber will be developing sub-committees for projects and more as events or projects warrant.
