The Skowhegan Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for citizens, business people, and any student interested to help us with upcoming community projects. The SACC has two types of volunteer opportunities: committees & quick action teams. Committees meet once per month all year-long while quick action teams are created to accomplish a specific project or goal and then they disband. Usually quick action teams (QATs) are a much shorter commitment lasting for a few weeks or months. Many QATs are for the events the SACC organizes.
The SACC only has two committees: the Membership Visitation Committee (also known as the Ambassador Committee) and the Board of Directors.
The Chamber will be developing QATs for projects and more as events or projects warrant. A QAT/Committee Description Sheet can be found here if you are interested.
